Frequently asked questions

Questions about certified reviews

Does the certification prove that a review is false?

No. It certifies how and when you captured the review, not whether what it says is true.

What if the review could be deleted?

Certify it right away with the tool you already have. The certification proves the content from the moment of capture: it cannot show what a page looked like before.

Which sites can I certify reviews from?

Reviews on the sites you open in a browser, such as Google, TripAdvisor or Amazon, are certified as web pages.

Can I certify a review I see inside an app?

Yes: record the screen with the TrueScreen app while you open the review and scroll it.

Which tool should I choose?

If the way the page was captured may be challenged, use the Forensic Browser. If the content matters and you need to be quick, the Browser Extension does the job; from your phone, use the app.

How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the type of capture and is shown before you confirm. When you sign up you get 2 free credits.

How can the recipient verify the certification?

With the ZIP package and the TrueScreen verification page: the check runs in the browser and nothing is uploaded.
