A regular screenshot is just an image file with no proof of when, where or how it was taken: it can be easily edited or fabricated. A TrueScreen notarization captures the screenshot together with a complete web archive (MHTML), DOM integrity hashes, page metadata, security state and performance data. Everything is packaged into a tamper-proof archive with a digital signature and qualified timestamp, creating a forensic artifact with full legal value.
Is the notarization legally admissible in court?
Yes. Every notarization includes a digital signature and qualified timestamp compliant with the eIDAS regulation, and follows the ISO/IEC 27037 standard for digital evidence handling. The forensic report documents the complete chain of custody from capture to certification, making it admissible as evidence in legal proceedings across EU jurisdictions.
Which browsers are supported?

Can I notarize pages that require login?
Yes. The extension captures exactly what is visible in your browser viewport. If you are logged into a website and can see the content, the extension can notarize it. Your login credentials are never accessed or stored by TrueScreen.
Is the extension free?
The extension is free to install and use. Each notarization consumes one credit from your TrueScreen account. Credits can be purchased from the TrueScreen Web Portal. A TrueScreen account is required: you can sign up for free.
Do I need a TrueScreen account?
Yes. You can sign in with your existing TrueScreen credentials (email, Google, Microsoft) or through your company's SSO. If you do not have an account, you can register for free from the TrueScreen Web Portal.
