Real-Time Acquisition: When you capture content like photos, videos, or audio directly through the TrueScreen app, the content is immediately sealed and certified, ensuring authenticity and integrity from the moment of creation. This provides a high evidentiary value.
Importing from Library: When importing existing content from your device’s library, TrueScreen applies a digital seal to ensure its immutability from the moment of import. While the evidentiary value is lower compared to real-time acquisition, it is still stronger than uncertified files.
In summary, real-time acquisition provides a higher level of certification than importing files from a library, but both methods increase the reliability of evidence when compared to uncertified files.
Yes, it is possible through the Trueflow “Record Screen.”
If you interrupt the process before confirming the data submission at the end of the flow, the process will be halted and not saved.
However, if you exit the app after submitting the data and previewing the report, the completed certification will be saved in your archive.
The Forensic Technical Report generated during the certification process provides a detailed overview of the entire acquisition. It includes:
– Methodological Introduction: An explanation of the procedures used during the acquisition.
– Report Details: Comprehensive information about the device used, such as device type, battery level, carrier, and more.
– Certified Content: The image or document being certified, along with associated metadata like file name, size, format, etc.
– Probative Value Explanation: A section explaining the legal significance and evidentiary value of the certified document.
This report ensures transparency, accuracy, and legal reliability of the certified content.
There are no duration limits for video and audio recordings predetermined by the App, the maximum limit is defined by the storage memory of your Mobile device.
